We believe that Worship is our response to a loving God, which means that everything we do can be considered Worship. When we gather on Sunday morning, we believe that we come to celebrate – our services typically include songs, prayers, readings from and interpretation of Scripture (the Bible). Some Sundays we have special celebrations like the Ritual of Baptism or Reception of New Members. The first Sunday of the month, we celebrate Holy Communion (also called Eucharist, or The Lord’s Supper) – we practice and “open table,” which means that all are welcome to receive the bread and juice in remembrance of the story of Jesus.
Our two services are similar in order; at our 8:45 service of Prayer and Preaching, you’ll find a smaller group and a more intimate time of prayer and Communion; at our 11:00 Festival Service, you’ll find a bit more music and a crowd…but there is always room for you!
Hearing enhancement aids, large print hymnals and large print bulletins are available from the ushers.
We hope to see you soon!
