Prayer Opportunities
Thanks to Jon Zillox, our Prayer Wall has taken on a new, fresh look. Stop by the wall, leave a prayer and/or take a prayer with you. As we pray together we recognize just how much we need each other. Prayer is that thread which keeps us connected as community.
About Prayer: We all pray. In all the emergencies of life, prayer is never far from our lips. Prayer is about spending time with God. The things that matter most – love, peace, freedom, dignity – can’t be bought at Jewel. They spring from our relationship with God. When we spend time with God, things change, we change in our understanding of ourselves and the rest of creation. Being able to turn to God is a gift and will give peace of mind in good times and trying times. Prayer is not a method, but a way of life. This Lenten season, let’s care for ourselves and one another by praying together.
