Update: Broadway’s mission trip to Spirit Lake Nation in North Dakota was very successful. The team consisted of Rev. Lois, Craig Fitzgerald, Diana Davis and Clayton Parr plus our friends Geoff Graham from North Northfield UMC and Neil Goudriaan from Oregon. We built a ramp for Amy and Earl, an elderly couple on the reservation, and worked around the Ministry Center with our missionary friends Mike and Libby Flowers. Mission Trip to Spirit Lake Dakotah Nation, Devils Lake , North Dakota
Team members invited. We are assembling a team for a mission trip to Spirit Lake, North Dakota once again this year. We’ll depart after worship on June 12, work for the week of June 13-17, and return to Chicago on the 18th. We’re looking for team members willing to work hard, though specific expertise is not required. Team members are asked to support their own room and board costs; some scholarship funds may be available to support those in financial straits who are willing to go. There will be more information available at our team meeting in conjunction with the next Ministry Fair after worship on Sunday, May 15th, or contact Clayton Parr for more information or to sign up to come with us!
